Customer kept having issues with this same area. Previous repair man kept trusting caulk to keep the water off the wood. We trimmed and fit the new flashing to ensure water would run safely down hill and save them from having to battle repair cost and pesky rodents with the coming cool temps.

Flashing and drip edge are all vital parts of a roof. Don’t be scammed by the “ol’ it will be fine, they just use that as an up charge” scheme.
