The Aluminum Company of North Carolina is in search of a dedicated, motivated and skilled field technician to fill our open position of Warranty Service Technician. This is a field-based position working hands-on to accomplish daily exterior remodeling tasks, warranty services and small installations and repairs as required. The company was founded in 1961 and offers a fun and challenging work environment where employees are rewarded with competitive pay, an enriching work environment, and a long-term growth opportunity in a family atmosphere.

The qualities of the ideal candidate are:
• A desire to succeed when faced with challenges.
• A strong ability to communicate with customers, department and project managers and upper management.
• The ability to complete assigned tasks/project in a timely manner and with an extremely high attention to detail.
• A proven track record of managing a daily schedule and scheduled appointments.
• Past, verifiable work history in the exterior remodeling trades with a focus on the following:
o Replacement window installation.
o Trim coil fabrication with a metal brake for fascia and window and door casings.
o Carpentry repairs such as fascia, soffit, brick mold, crown molding, etc.
o Roof (both shingle and metal) knowledge a huge plus.
o Glass and glazing experience a huge plus
o Vinyl and Hardie siding experience
o Door installation and replacement.

To be considered for the position, the candidate must possess the following:
• A valid NC Driver's License.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• A clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• The ability to regularly lift 75 lbs., carry an extension ladder, and work in many varied work environments in the field.
• Previous OSHA training a plus
