Duda|Paine Architects is pleased to announce that Jeff Paine, FAIA, our visionary co-founder, retired from his full-time role in January.  After almost 30 years of extraordinary leadership and unwavering dedication to our clients, Jeff has taken on the role of Consulting Partner to continue contributing to the firm’s success in a new and meaningful capacity.

As we celebrate Jeff’s extraordinary career, we look forward to a vibrant future, built on the strong foundation he and Design Partner Turan Duda, FAIA created—and now carried forward by Turan and Principals Jay Smith, AIA, Scott Shell, AIA, and Sanjeev Patel, AIA.

📌Emory Student Center, Atlanta, GA

The Student Center at Emory University features a geothermal field to moderate the building’s heating and cooling needs year-round, as well as solar hot water panels, improved wall insulation, and chilled beams in student life areas. Additional highlights include energy-efficient mechanical heating/cooling systems, window shade and occupancy sensors, and ceiling fans set to automatically increase comfort levels. The project has received LEED Platinum Certification.
