Still inspired after attending the 2026 Empowered Women’s Forum in North Carolina yesterday. ✨

From meaningful breakout sessions to powerful panel discussions on balancing ambition, leadership, and life — every conversation in the room carried strength, honesty, and purpose. It was incredible to be surrounded by so many accomplished and inspiring women, each with a unique story and journey to share.

Hearing North Carolina’s First Lady, Anna Stein, speak about her own experiences made the day even more impactful.

Celebrating a HUGE milestone today… 30 years with Charles 🙌🏻 🍾

If you know RND, you know Charles.

Charles has been such a constant at RND for so many people over the years. He’s the person you go to for expert problem-solving advice, a reliable helping hand, or even just some carpentry tips 🪚

We consistently hear how much people enjoy working with Charles. Clients say it, teammates say it, and new employees pick up on it almost immediately. He has a way of making anyone who walks through our doors feel comfortable and supported.

Through every season of change, Charles has always been hardworking, dependable, and calm no matter what’s going on. Even after 30 years, he still shows up every day ready to help however he can.

Charles, thank you for everything you’ve given to RND over the years. The time, the care, the patience, the example you set for everyone around you. We’re lucky to work alongside you and even luckier to know you.

That’s a wrap on our third renovation at the Armory Building!

Built in 1937, this 90 year old historic building has hosted years of community gatherings, celebrations, and dances. When the City set out to replace and refinish the floors that have carried so many memories, RND was honored to collaborate.

Our team installed new maple flooring laid in the original herringbone pattern, keeping the building’s character intact while getting it ready for years of celebrations still to come.

Thankful to keep working with the City of Durham on a space that holds such a special place in the community. Rumor has it Glenn practiced his footwork for the occasion.🕺

This morning, the RND team traded our hard hats for gardening gloves 🪏🌱

We were proud to volunteer at C.M. Herndon Park as part of the 2026 Durham Mayor’s Corporate Challenge, a city-wide effort to help Durham Parks & Rec get our parks ready for summer. Our crew planted new plants at the front entry, adding a little fresh life to a space our community loves.

Fun fact: Years ago we worked on the restroom renovations at Herndon Park! Getting to return and give back in a different way felt pretty great.

The Adron F. Thompson Water Treatment Facility has been a part of the Hillsborough community since 1936. First, as the Town’s original water treatment plant, now as the operational home for Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection.

Nearly 90 years in, this building has more to give.

RND is grateful to be leading the renovation and expansion of this historic facility. The renovation will include a new welding shop, stock room, updated office space, restrooms, and a new equipment storage building. These improvements will better serve the crews who keep Hillsborough’s water systems running every day.

Work is currently underway, beginning with hazardous material abatement to prepare the structure for what’s ahead. Swipe to see the progress, the vision, and the original building!

Celebrating a HUGE milestone today! 20 years with Karen 🤩

As our accounting manager, Karen is a driving force for our behind the scenes operations. RND runs the way it does because of her incredible precision and ability to keep all the plates spinning at once.

Her loyalty and impact on this team is so admirable and we are so grateful for everything she does to help keep us on track. She works incredibly hard, she’s fiercely reliable, and when you need her, she delivers every single time.

Karen, thank you for 20 amazing years with RND. We’re so lucky to continue to have you as part of the crew, cheers to you!! 🥂
