Durham Garden Center We’re home to a healthy selection of houseplants, local artisan pottery, native plants, garden centerpieces, seeds, soil, and supplies.

Durham-owned, horticulture for all. You are welcome here 🌈 esp. kids, dogs, and pollinators. As of 2020, we are renovating the space and rethinking how our center can learn and grow with our Durham community. Our staff is new to the shop, but we are no spring bunnies. We are trained horticulturists, artists, foragers, cooks, community planners, and propagation specialists. We hope you love the new

You don’t want to miss this class! Turn your very own worm castings into nutrients for your soil, increasing soil structure and drainage. You’ll leave with all the supplies (including worms!) to set up your very own. Vermicompost helps plants grow bigger, produce higher yields and can reduce the impact of pests and diseases! Karen teaches all around the triangle and we’re lucky to have her join us!
