After 25 years at Duvall Hardware & Garden, the one and only Liz Richards has officially retired. 🪴❤️

Liz didn’t just work in the garden department — she pretty much built it. With an incredible amount of knowledge, hard work, community spirit and a firm belief that there is always a way to get the job done, she helped turn it into the place so many of you know and love today.

Over the years, Liz has answered approximately nine million plant questions, moved more bags of soil than anyone should reasonably be expected to lift, and helped generations of Duvall gardeners figure out what to plant, where to plant it and how to keep it alive.

She has been a coworker, teacher, problem-solver, cheerleader and friend to so many people in our store and our community. We’re going to miss her knowledge, her energy and her ability to take one look at a struggling plant and know exactly what it needs.

Please join us in thanking Liz for 25 remarkable years and wishing her a very happy, well-earned retirement.

The garden area is not messing around. 🌿

Rows on rows of flowers, shrubs, vines, baskets, veggies, and garden finds are tucked into every corner — basically, it’s a plant-lover’s playground with a roof.

Come take a wander through the greenhouse and outside garden area. There’s a lot to see, a lot to smell, and a very real chance your “quick stop” turns into a full cart situation. 😎❤️🪴

Friday reminder: Mother’s Day is not sneaking up anymore. It is standing right there with a hanging basket in its hand. 🌺

We’ve got ready-to-gift flowers, blooming containers, begonias, hanging baskets, and all kinds of outdoor space pretty options for the moms, grandmas, bonus moms, plant people, and “I don’t need anything” people in your life.
