I wanted to share before and after photos of a job I finished recently. The before is of the lighter colored linoleum. Not the worst looking linoleum ever, but it can't complete with the real wood flooring that was still underneath. It took plenty of effort, but it rurned out very nice.

I happen to have a very open schedule right now, so if you have been thinking about any flooring improvements, so this could be a good time for it. 😊

I am starting a new laminate install this week. First, I need to tear out the old tile floor in dining room kitchen. That will create some damaging projectiles, so I put up a wall of panels to protect the sliding glass doors doors. I'll do the same in the kitchen to protect the appliances. Hopefully I'll have some good after pictures for you by the end of the week. Wish me luck! 😊

This is a great time to get your flooring work scheduled with me. I have time open from mid January and beyond to help you with any kind of wood flooring work (install, sanding and finishing, custom staining), laminate installation and a variety of tile work.

I also have lots of experience with tear out work, carpet removal and recycling, installing wood floors and stairs, and all related trim work. This last December marked 34 years since I started in the wood flooring business!

I just finished up a nice wood flooring job in Lakeville, doing my specialty - weaving new wood into existing wood. Since the existing floor had the original light golden floor, I sanded and stained everything a fresher medium color, and topped it off with four coats of satin urethane.

Up next, I'm doing the exact same thing four houses down. Even the exact same layout. It is a different wood, though. Maple instead of red oak. 😊
