Subcontract Cabinet Sales & Design Professional (1099)
Foothills Cabinet Company – Boise, ID Area
Foothills Cabinet Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Independent Contractor (1099) to manage the sales and design process for residential and light commercial cabinetry projects. This is a commission-based opportunity for an individual with established industry skills who wants the flexibility of running their own schedule while partnering with a respected local cabinet supplier.
Scope of Work (Responsibilities)
Client Consultation & Sales: Act as the primary point of contact for new leads and referrals. Conduct initial consultations to determine client needs, preferences, and budgets for kitchen, bath, and other custom cabinetry projects.
Design & Drafting: Visit job sites to take precise measurements and develop detailed, functional, and aesthetically pleasing cabinet designs.
Required Proficiency: Must be proficient in Cabinet Vision Software or comparable design software
Quoting & Contract Management: Prepare accurate material lists (take-offs), cost estimates, and detailed sales proposals. Manage the entire process through contract signing.
Project Oversight: Coordinate all design-related logistics between the client, Foothills Cabinet Company, and installation crews to ensure the final product meets the design specification and client satisfaction.
Relationship Building: Actively seek new business through, relationship development with local builders, remodelers, and general contractors in the Boise area.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in cabinet sales, kitchen/bath design, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and handle complex project measurements.
Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and hardware specifications.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Job is 100% Commission
