After the holidays we decided it was time for a living room remodel! The space wasn't very usable so we decided to pull out the old fireplace and brick up a new one so we could get the TV in the center of the room. This created a much more functional space and allowed us to lay out the furniture in a way that made more sense. Once that was done, we scraped the old popcorn ceilings, re-trimmed the doors, windows and cased openings with craftsman style woodwork, added new led can lights, a new ceiling fan, and finished it all off with new paint. A few touch-ups left and some new flooring once the spring comes around but I think it's turning out nicely! Here are a few before, during, and after pics.
