Our annual plant sale last Friday was a complete success. Our members outdid themselves bringing many different varieties of flowers and vegetables for sale. We also offered delicious baked goods and other items. We enjoyed meeting customers who share our passion for gardening and possible new members for our club. We all enjoyed the experience and each other’s company.

We had an opportunity to take a field trip to one of our member's garden last week!

It was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed Sally's place.

Her property was a pasture field with a barn when she bought it. She started with putting floor boards in the section of the barn and planting rhododendrons and blueberry bushes. Decades later there is hummingbird garden, sedum corner, the potting shed with chuck full of garden related antiques that have been collected over the years, shade garden, vegetable patch and big blueberry bushes, rhododendrons in full bloom everywhere...
There were so much to see!
The warm, comfortable, welcoming place truly was a reflection of Sally's personality.

I was having so much fun with everyone and forgot to take many pictures. I'm so glad Nancy did. Thank you, Nancy!

Wonderful tour was ended with delicious lunch inside of her home which is beautifully converted into a loving home from a barn by Sally and her husband where they raised their four children. We enjoyed listening to some of her stories in this house.

Thank you, Sally, Rich, and Katherine, for having us. We all had a wonderful time!!
