🎓 With the Akron Central School District kindergarteners celebrating graduation today, we thought this would be the perfect time to share one of our favorite keepsakes.

Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of hosting 79 Akron kindergarten students for a field trip at the greenhouse. After their visit, the classes surprised us with the sweetest thank-you booklet filled with notes and drawings from the students. 💚

As we look back on those smiling faces exploring the greenhouse, it's hard to believe they're already kindergarten graduates!

A special congratulations goes out to our very own Shae Lavocat, who is part of this amazing graduating class and who stepped right into the role of greenhouse assistant helping Uncle Chris show off some of the plants. Giving his classmates a front row look at just how interesting plants can be was certainly a highlight for him!

Congratulations to all of the Akron kindergarten graduates! We hope you have a wonderful summer and keep growing, learning, and exploring wherever life takes you next.

A sweet surprise for Addison at Story Time! 🥹

As many of you know, Addison is the creator of our Story Time program and the one who brings it to life each month. This week, her parents surprised us all and brought in roses for the kiddos who took turns congratulating her on graduating and handing her a flower.

Story Time has become a staple in the routines of so many local families, and moments like this remind us just how special this little community is.

Watching those little faces proudly deliver their roses and kind words was something special. Congratulations, Addison! We're so proud of you and grateful for the wonderful families who make Story Time what it is. ❤️

From releasing beneficial predatory insects that naturally control pests (instead of relying heavily on sprays) to using biodegradable bio pots that help reduce plastic waste, we're always looking for ways to grow smarter and greener.
