Tennis courts on a hillside aren’t exactly a standard.

Today’s job at Starlite Camping Resort had our crew navigating some elevation changes to get a clean surfacing done right.

The work got done. The grades came out smooth. And somewhere between passes, a plane landed at the mini golf area next door (kind of), which is a sentence we didn’t expect to write today.

Not every job is flat. That’s fine by us, if there are views of the surrounding areas like this.

6 years ago, Robbie was a laborer. Now he’s the one running the crew.

Over six years, Robbie’s worked his way up to paving foreman, and what that actually means on the ground is keeping a crew organized, a job on schedule, and the work done right across all kinds of paving conditions.

Not the easiest thing to manage day in and day out.

He started where a lot of guys start. He didn’t stay there.

While he started in quarter midgets, he moved to micro sprints in 2021.

Now running the Sportsman class on a 250cc engine.
