Here’s a friendly reminder to all of us who call a home service company to come fix your plumbing, HVAC, or electrical systems. It is very impolite to ask said service person a question, and then talk over them and interrupt them as they’re answering the questions you asked. You get special bonus impolite points for complaining about being told all this “negative news” when we quote you a price upfront before the work is done so you understand the cost of the service. It cost a substantial amount of money to get a qualified, licensed, and insured tradesperson to your house in an expensive truck stocked with $100,000 of tools and materials. We have found that the vast majority of our clients want to have a price before any work is started. That’s how we’ve done things since 2011. Thank you, and happy Monday!

Beyond amazing. A company that is truly dedicated to their customers and community. Cliff and his team cared less about the bottom line and more about the wellbeing of my family. We lost power due to a tree falling on the power line between our house and the pole during last weeks storm. Eversource wasn’t able to get the power back on until that following Friday. We lost a couple of appliances, but more importantly our boiler was shot as well. I asked an electrician friend for some advice as to what I should do and he said to call a plumber. I reached out to Master Tech because I knew they were a very reputable company. When I spoke to Cliff and sent him a couple of pictures he advised an electrician to start. He referred Balanced Electric (also amazing), they came out the following Monday (per my request even though they offered same day) and got the zone control board powered up. However the boiler was still not functioning. I reached back out to Cliff within 10 minutes after the electricians left to ask what the next step should be, and he was already searching for the control board that was toast inside the boiler. He said worst case it may be another day until he could get the part and would let me know as soon as he was able to secure one. He reached out a bit later to let me know that he was able to find one locally, pulled some strings to get it that day, and already had one of his guys on their way to pick it up to and get it installed THAT DAY! Chris and Tom were super professional and swapped the part, explaining everything along the way. Replacing that board got the boiler powered up, but unfortunately still not heating and no hot water, which was something that Cliff told me could happen before they even came back to swap the board. At that point my wife and children were starting to get discouraged. We had been staying with family in Holbrook for a week and we all just wanted to be home. Tom explained that the blower was fried and we needed a new one, but they wouldn’t be able to get it and have it installed until the next day. I was expecting longer, and was amazed to hear that. Tuesday Tom arrived on schedule and replaced the blower. Powered it up and we finally had heat. BUT still no hot water. At this point now I felt defeated. The power surge from that line being taken out really did a number on this boiler. Tom REFUSED to leave until he had our home heated and our family to have the ability to shower. He even had the electrician come back to assist. This boiler was such a disaster. Even after I told them to call it a day, they both refused to leave until it was fixed. They were dedicated, they cared, and they delivered. They were able to get both the heat and hot water to work, and my family was able to sleep and shower comfortably in our own home. Our family will be forever grateful for the length that Cliff and his team went to help us get through such a difficult situation. Every time I thanked them, their response was “this is what we do and we’re happy to help”. That is a company who shows they care more about their customers and community above everything. The reviews I’ve seen are more than accurate and I needed to explain our situation in full detail to show that. I can’t put into words how grateful our family really is for everything Cliff and his team did for us. Thank you!

Our internet just came back in, and we are ale to communicate with our customers again. We just finished shoveling out most of our trucks, and we are back to running service calls. If you call ANY company to come to your house, please make sure your driveway is shoveled or plowed and there is a place for us to park off the road. A lot of the secondary roads in Mashpee and Falmouth are still single lane and barely passable. Please be careful and please be patient. Thank you for your business.
