We recently partnered with Bellingrath Brothers Landscaping to install a Broadleaf-designed residential landscape. We consulted with our client to create this stately and functional front planting design which incorporates screening trees to help cut down road noise and block views to busy Albany Avenue, and low-maintenance ground cover. When we first visited the location, it was a completely blank slate with minimal site constraints, which provided a great opportunity to make a statement on this property. At Broadleaf Landscape Design, we always enjoy seeing one of our designs come to fruition. With the hard work of Bellingrath Brothers Landscaping LLC, this design was realized. The driving forces that shaped this design were two fold. The first and main objective was to screen the newly planned burial plots from the surrounding neighborhood while not significantly reducing the plot space. Secondly was to use our design skills and plant knowledge to create a unique hedge. To achieve this, we created a berm or raised planting bed to accommodate a combination of plant materials that would provide year round evergreen interest and screening, while also using deciduous shrubs and perennials to provide large pops of seasonal color throughout the growing season.🌲

Fall is a great time for planting! Soil temperatures are warm and air temperatures are cooler, which is optimum for root growth. Now is the time to plan for Fall & Spring! Broadleaf Landscape Design recently delivered these three designs for local contractors, two of which are plan view construction documents produced for commercial purposes, one for a local municipality and the second for a private enterprise.
