Got a chance to do some commercial custom repairs today. Couldn't just run out and buy a replacement so I had to improvise a bit. That's my favorite kind of repair, when I get to think outside the box. Creating solutions to problems with my hands is my passion!

I started welding when I was about 9yrs old. I discovered that I really like making sparks 😂 My dad was an auto mechanic and I was fortunate enough to have a MiG welder in the garage to play with.
Over the years I've welded both professionally and as a hobby. I've repaired all sorts of things, built things following blueprints and welding specification processes, I've even made some pretty cool art pieces as well.
Technically I'm an award winning artist thanks to being part of a team that won 2nd place, per the judges, and 1st place in people's choice voting at the 2024 Scrapfest in Lansing Michigan.

Had a customer that needed some shed doors rebuilt. The previous doors, although painted, rotted away after years of being exposed to the elements. Here's the finished product.
FYI You should wait 3 to 6 months for standard pressure-treated lumber to dry out before painting. Newly treated wood is saturated with water-based preservatives and must dry completely, or paint will peel and crack within months
