The reality of our times and the consequences: Remembering the Hopes of Gerald Rosenberg (put solar on his house in 2019).
All those looking at alternative energy vehicles if it be hybrids or all electric please consider a few things. When purchasing one of these electric cars or hybrids you are supporting the progress away from heavy usage of fossil fuels. We are not expecting to stop the total usage of petroleum based products the goal is to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and the waste products that enter our atmosphere and water supplies. All those considering doing some type of solar energy, wind energy or geo-thermal energy it is all about the same process, reducing our dependency and supporting a cleaner environment (air, water and soil). Progressive thinking is all about supporting the possibility of positive changes.
I have been doing Solar on my house since 2017 and last year purchased my first electric vehicle. In the past 12 years I have owned a Honda Hybrid and found it to be great but all electric was my next effort to advance the technology through participating in the process and supporting the technologies. Tesla, Rivian, Ford, Lucid along with other countries electric advancements will help us learn and improve our children and grandchildren's environmental future. I do not expect that we will be shifting the grand scale of the earths current trajectory to warmer water temperatures but we can do our part in understanding and advancing our ability to be more responsible stewards to the lands and seas. We are in the midst of a climactic shift. Have we and other industrialized nations contributed to the acceleration? We have contributed and now we are responsible for managing our future behaviors as it refers to our world and how we honor it.
Human beings are far from perfect BUT awe have the greatest capacity to learn, advance our understanding and create opportunity for our future as a species. Yes wars will erupt. Yes different beliefs will clash but there are things we all share as common goals. Safety for our children, health and hope for our communities along with the belief that we can all be better in a great diversity of human experiences. This is not a political post. This is a shout out that we need to be working together to better ourselves, our children, our families, our communities, our countries and our planet.
Today I am Living, I am loving and I am learning to better myself so I am better for all of you. I send hugs into the universe in memory of My Father Gerald Rosenberg and hope he is finding his next adventure a little easier than his last with greater hopes for the future. Love you dad. I am doing my part to take care of mom and the rest of the family. We all are. Rest in peace till we meet again.
