It is with a heavy heart we are to share the passing of Mr. Olson.
Mr. Olsonโs dedication, values, and vision laid the foundation for what this business is today. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and the impact he had on us, our team, and community.
Clive H. Olson, 93, of Taunton passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026 uplifted in love and prayers by his Family. He was a good and faithful husband, to his wife Elaine Olson (Rocheleau) who pre-deceased him in 2016.
He was born on June 18, 1932 in Taunton. Clive stayed deeply rooted in his community. He was the proud owner of Olson's Greenhouses which was established in 1916 by his Father, Victor Per Olson, now operated by his son, Clive and โadopted sonโ Matthew Piscitelli.
Clive was involved in many organizations in the city of Taunton, including being a City Councilman for 10 years, and a commissioner for the Taunton Municipal Light Plant. He was extremely generous to the Boys and Girls Club and had a wonderfully generous spirit. Clive also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Survived by his loving children Kathleen MacLean, Eric Olson, Kirk Olson and Clive Olson; his 9 grandchildren Laine Ryder , Trevor Bissonette, Troy Bissonette, Sister Miriam MacLean, Cody Olson, Maddie Olson, Orion Olson, Owen Olson, Oliver Olson and his 2 great grandchildren Stella and Clive the great.
In addition to his wife, Clive is predeceased by his daughters Doreen Bissonnette (d.2000) and Helene Olson (d. 1963)
Flowers were his great joy!! In lieu of any donations to anywhere: send flowers!! Lots of flowers!!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 12-3pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave.,A Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Jude of Apostle Parish, 249 Whittenton St, Taunton. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton
