I've been painting houses full time for the past 22 years, and I've had this business for 19 of those years. The only time I've taken off from painting was when I had each of my two children. They often say anyone can paint, and perhaps that is true, but not everyone can paint well. Very few are excellent painters, but I consider myself to be one of them. The biggest difference between myself and

many other painters is my attention to detail, and ability to paint a straight line :)! I rarely use tape, and usually only do as a precautionary measure. Many paint jobs look great at a glance, but when you look up close, often you realize where people cut corners and were sloppy. That's my difference. When you look up close, you'll still think it looks great. When I'm working on your home, my main priorities are being dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of your home and personal space. I do interior, exterior, light ceiling and wall repair, wallpaper removal, staining, polyurethaning, power washing - just about anything related to house painting. Estimates are free and references are always available.

This staircase was just a small part of a very large, recently completed project; yet I put SO much time into this staircase, it almost feels like a third child 😋
It started out with some new parts and some old, as shown in the first picture. All of the wood on the risers and aprons had to be primed, then caulked and puttied and two coats of paint. The oak handrails and posts were first treated with wood conditioner, then stained with a custom formulation ( to match the floor and treads), and then finished with two coats of matte acrylic urethane. All of the black metal spindles needed to be carefully protected . The pictures don’t really do it justice but my hard work paid off and it looks spectacular.

This was a fun and challenging job we recently finished up! This common hallway of an apartment building needed some sprucing up. The first few pictures shows the before, when it had a wallpaper border running across the middle of the wall. The next set of pictures is during, when we removed the border, did some repairs, painted the top half, then measured and marked off lines for the yellow tape in order to create a new, clean, crisp green half wall. And there's a video at the end of some satisfying tape pulling. I'm pretty proud of how it came out, we rarely do taping jobs like this!

This is your periodic reminder to work on picking out your colors - now! Please don't wait until the very last minute. It can cause unneccesary delays, especially if the project has been planned well ahead of time, and one day I email you and I say, Hey, can we start next week? And then you panic because you haven't chosen your colors yet. If you need help deciding or just narrowing it down, I'm pretty good with that, so don't hesitate to ask. See you soon ;)
