Two coats of pecan stain and two coats of polyurethane on these window replacements. A quarter inch gap between the window casings and wall was filled with Durobond joint compound and layered with a coat of caulking to prevent cracking. Walls painted with a computer match at the paint store.

Once an old school house in Southampton from the 1880’s. The built-in china cabinet was built in the 1920’s.

The previous painting of the base boards were peeling because they had not been sanded or de-glossed before applying the finish coat of paint. All of the peeling paint on the baseboards was scraped off, throughly sanded with 220 grit sandpaper, and finished with two coats of semigloss paint.

Painting Contractors art… These scraping blades (and Pythagoras’s Painters champion painters!) removed all the peeling paint from 26 full size houses. 3/4 of the houses had hard lead paint. There is a new blade in the middle of this mosaic piece.
