Crawlspace First‼️ Home Second‼️

Before stepping foot through the front door of any home you’re thinking of buying or renovating check the crawlspace first!

It doesn’t matter how beautiful the floors look, how fresh the paint is, or how new the appliances are. If the crawlspace is full of standing water, mold, termites, or rotting wood. The entire home is compromised.

I’ve seen it too many times people fall in love with what’s above, but completely ignore what’s below. And sellers? They rarely point it out. Not because they’re always shady but because most don’t think to show it, or they know it’ll scare buyers off.

So here’s the rule:
If the crawlspace is a mess don’t even walk through the front door. Bring someone who knows what to look for. Stick your head in there. Get a flashlight. If it doesn’t look right, walk away. All that nice finish work inside the home won’t last if the base of the house is rotting underneath it.

The crawlspace is the foundation of the entire home ignore it, and you could be throwing your money away.
