This recent residential photography session captured a beautiful full interior renovation and rear addition by Oak, Delaware’s Custom Home Builder thoughtfully blending updated spaces with the character and history of the original cottage.

From the preserved wood-paneled rooms and original details to the light-filled kitchen, custom built-ins, inviting window seats, and coastal-inspired interiors, every space feels both refreshed and connected to the home’s story.

It’s always rewarding to photograph a project where thoughtful design doesn’t mean losing the character that made the home special in the first place.
