Lake State Landscaping and Snow Removal is looking for a skilled Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of work trucks, salt trucks, lawnmowers, plows, trailers etc... to the best of your ability. The mechanic will also work closely with both of our office managers concerning daily operations.
Responsibilities will include the following and are not limited to:

• Maintain proper inventory of materials, equipment and other supplies in shop and make sure crews have what is necessary for the daily jobs
• Order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
• Take corrective actions when appropriate
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
• Inspect, and perform thorough maintenance on all machinery/equipment such as Bobcat, Kubotas, John Deere Tractor, salt spreaders, snow plows, snow blowers, quads, lawnmowers, trucks and trailers etc...
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
• Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Keep logs of work and report on issues
Requirements
• Proven experience as Mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to delegate and follow up
• High school diploma is preferred
• Reliability and good work ethics are a must to be considered
• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record to be considered

Compensation will depend on experience
