It's time to order your flowers for Prom! I'm working with the Eatonville FFA Chapter this year to help them raise money for their trip to Pullman for State FFA Convention. Not only is it a great deal (if you've shopped around, you know), but it's for a great cause. FFA is sending their FARM for Kids team to state! They've worked hard and given up personal and class time to present lessons on agriculture to kids at Eatonville Elementary, and now they get to compete! There's also students getting proficiency awards, and Annika is running for State FFA Office.

It's nice outside! Let's have a short notice sale, and get some plants into your yard!
Emerald Green arborvitae: Need to hide something? These are your new friends. 5 gal., $20 each
Magic Carpet Spirea: No-fuss color for spring, summer, and fall. They grow to a couple feet tall, and have a nice spread. Easy to maintain with hedge shears or a w**d whacker if you want them a little shorter. A must-have if you're going for a sub alpine meadow look. $8-12, 2 sizes available.
Mt Vernon Laurel: slow growing to knee-high, a dependable, hardy evergreen "tall ground cover." $7 each, discounts for purchase of 10 or more.
Kramer's Red Heather: Pretty magenta blooms in late winter, covers an area of about 3-4 sq ft at maturity. $7 each.

A couple more items for this short notice sale:
Leyland Cypress: if the Emerald Green arborvitae just won't do, these guys are designed to eventually hide something on a much larger scale. They get big enough to be a massive wind break (see the hedge in the background?). Or keep them trimmed down to something a little smaller. $25 each
Western Red Cedar: slower growing than Leyland Cypress, but makes a beautiful privacy screen in an area with a little extra water. $10-25 each
