I’ve been away from social media for a while, to really enjoy some real world time, and making memories with my family. I wanted to share this picture with ya’ll who’ve tagged along the Oak Wick journey.. my shop is finally move in ready and I’m so ready to make this space my own.
Being away has been refreshing and peaceful. I’m planning on taking some good vacations this summer with the fam and getting my shop just right before the fall season, where I’ll do a mini comeback with Oak Wick for the Holidays ❤️ 🕯️ - miss you all!

Make sure to take time for yourself, you won’t regret it 🙂

After a lot of reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision not to restart Oak Wick Candle Co.

This was not an easy decision. Oak Wick was never just a business to me — it was a creative journey filled with so much beauty, learning, and connection. I am incredibly grateful for every single person who supported my little candle company over the years. Your encouragement, purchases, kind messages, and friendships meant more than I can truly put into words.

Through Oak Wick I met so many wonderful people, and I will always be thankful for the community that formed around it.

Right now, life is guiding me toward a slower pace. This season of life is asking me to focus more on my children, my home, and being more grounded and present. With young kids and family life at the center, I’ve realized that running Oak Wick the way it deserves just isn’t possible right now.

That being said, this isn’t something I’m closing the door on forever. Oak Wick was such a meaningful part of my life, and maybe someday when the season is right, it may return in some form.

For now, I’m simply stepping back with a grateful heart for everything this journey taught me — creativity, courage, connection, and growth.

Thank you to everyone who supported Oak Wick and walked alongside me during this chapter. It truly meant the world to me. 🤍
