An Update:
At about 2 am Thursday, October 9 we awoke to what sounded like gunshots going off. We got out of bed, looked out the window and saw an orange glow reflecting off our small shed.
Running to the kitchen we looked out the window, flames were shooting out the front and back of the building. The picture below was taken only minutes after the phone call with dispatch, nearly fully engulfed.
In 12 minutes the township fire department was on scene. They were well organized and did an excellent job. While on scene Jerad was asked to take down the walls so the fire could be properly extinguished, eventually all the walls were taken down and foam had to be used to put out the hot spots.
Our family and animals are all safe.
This shed held nearly the entire contents of our business; skid steer, tractor, lawn mower, all our skid steer implements, all our hand tools, chainsaws, screw guns. Everything except 2 trailers, excavator, dump truck and our pickup. Nothing was salvageable.
We are now in the insurance process. We're not completely out of commission we can still do some excavation work and hauling.
Praise God, we have enough equipment to keep working, we have insurance, our lives were spared and God is always working for the good of those who love him!
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
