From the Ground Up is looking to hire a full time Lawn Mowing Technician in the Chippewa Valley starting early to mid-April.
Duties Include:
• Operating a commercial 54” Kubota zero turn mower
• Operating a commercial walk behind mower
• Operating a Stihl string trimmer
• Operating a Stihl backpack blower
• Operating a truck with a utility trailer
• Weeding and bed maintenance
• Performing other lawn care, irrigation and landscaping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Experience is preferred but not required
• Motivated with a desire to learn
• Possess a positive work ethic and have good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply
Position requirements:
• Ability to actively work on feet for an entire day
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Typical hours range between 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
• Must be willing to work 35+ hours per week
Seasonal job:
• Optional year round employment available assisting with plowing, snow blowing and snow shoveling duties
Pay/Benefits:
• $18.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience and growth in the company)
• Retirement plan options available after one year of employment
