Most people know that our dear friend Michael Brown (Brownie) died last October 15 from a wasp sting while he was golfing at a charity tournament. But what a lot of people don’t know is that Brownie had been stung before but never had a severe allergic reaction prior. As a result of this deadly anaphylactic reaction to the wasp sting, he left behind his wife, Meg, and their two sons.

The Edgartown Patrolman's Association, Waterfront Builders, and The Vineyard Golf Club are working together to raise money for the Brown family via the raffle below.

Enter to win a new set of golf clubs (up to a $4,000 value). Physical raffle tickets can be purchased at The Wharf Pub, Al’s Package Store, and the Waterfront Builders’ office. Cash is accepted at the locations above or payment is accepted via Venmo to the Edgartown Patrolman’s Association (). If paying via Venmo please make the payment private and include your name, “Brownie” and Phone Number or Email. Staff will fill out the physical ticket for you. Tickets may also be purchased throughout Edgartown during the Christmas in Edgartown weekend. All proceeds directly benefit Michael Brown (Brownie)’s family.

Each ticket is one entry. $100 per entry. No entry limit.

Drawing will take place on December 14, 2024. Winner will be directly reached out to.
