Dakota Valley Services hires plumber
We welcome Bridger Mathern to Dakota Valley Services. His knowledge and enthusiasm is a real asset to our mission of providing top notch plumbing and heating services.
Bridger Mathern has been hired as an apprentice plumber at Dakota Valley Services (DVSC.)
Mathern will be assisting with residential and small business plumbing and heating installations and services offered by DVSC from its Edgeley office.
Bridger is a graduate of North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS), Wahpeton, where he received hands-on experience in both lab and design courses, drafting and blueprint reading in preparation for his career in the plumbing industry.
Prior to his employment at DVSC, he worked for Red River Plumbing, West Fargo and Horace, where he gained experience providing both residential and commercial plumbing services.
Mathern and his wife, Bailey, make their home near Edgeley,

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
Our Edgeley location is getting some much needed road/parking area work done.
Soon both Hwy 281 & normal Hwy 13 entrances will be blocked off for work.
The temporary entrance to DVEC & DVSC will be about a quarter mile east of the 'regular' Hwy 13 entrance. This is actually the road to the substation east of the shop but for now will also be our road in and out of our shop/offices.
If you take a look at the Google earth snip below it shows the path you'll take to get in. The east/west part is pretty rough and muddy at times but will get you to the east side door.
Please call ahead and someone can walk you through the building as you will need to go through the shop/service area to get to the office.

PHONE SCAM ALERT!
Today Dakota Valley Electric received a call from a consumer saying they received an automated disconnect call from their “power provider”. He was asked to update their payment method, he hung up without entering any info.
Theses consumers are set up for automatic payments – ironically, their card expires at the end of this month, so they were concerned and doubling checking. They said the call came from phone number 701-269-8789.
Remember DVSC will never ask you to update your payment info over the phone. If anyone asked you for card information, or any detailed personal info, over the phone, hang up and call our office back.
