I had to go do a stair project last week and then do some coordination for this project, but at the end of this week framing done in master bedroom. I think a very neat closet here has been created, there will be stairs to get into an attic space, next week bathroom Dormer building..... . Also I put my fourth honey super on today so each Hive has about 300 lb of honey they're going to give me and then I have another Hive at a friends homestead that's going to be the same....

This is a new house in a brand new subdivision. The deck didn't come with stairs. So they hired me to build some.

So working along in the room this week got the bracing out and the collar ties in furred the new wall out to get nailers for drywall. Sealed things in more and started working on the closet/bathroom, or. Bathroom' Ripping into that next week Dormer in there as well.

The Rafter framing on the one side is complete and the bracing has been changed now, for holding the roof up since the other side gets completely removed. The support wall has been put back in. I was able to reuse all the doug fir original studs to rebuild the wall; they're stronger. I'm ready to tear the other roof off build a wall and create a bigger master bedroom.

Factory stained door picture one versus picture two me mixing a bunch of stains together and I color match it, the artist I am. I think my door turned out better.

Current Kitchen remodel. I took a 30 inch doorway, then turned it into 38 inches wide. Addied an archway to match the rest of the homes doorways. The challange was there is a curved ceiling on the opposite side of the kitchen in the dining room; that I didn't want to disrupt. I had to do a single header with notching the studs out. Its kind of difficult to explain,but had to use my brain in load calculations, a fun carpentry project for me

A screen room that I designed and built. Very fun project. I like custom carpentry things. I also built them some custom stairs as a gift, at the end of the project.

Complete gut and finish. She was so happy to finally get her dream kitchen, after years raising a familly.
