Hello everyone!

I have some sad news. After much thought and consideration I have decided to throw in the towel to my painting business.

We were given some news today about our daughter Izzy from her neurologist and unfortunately her diagnosis has changed to a more serious disease. The new disease that Izzy has is a more life long disease. I need to devote myself and my full attention to giving Izzy the best chance she has and unfortunately I can’t do that if I am taking on painting jobs.

What she has is called neuromyelitis optica and it is a more aggressive disease, something that will be lifelong and unfortunately puts Izzy at risk for being blind one day, paraplegic or quadriplegic because she is at higher risk of relapse and they said it can happen several times and unfortunately with the brain/spine and nerves it controls all of the organs so there’s a higher chance of all of the things we don’t want to hear.

There’s no cure, there is only preventative measures we can take in hopes of preventing the relapses in the disease from happening but because Izzy had a relapse already he is very concerned. The plan is to continue IVIG treatments monthly, manage her pain and neuropathy with medications as we’ve been doing and to do every three months a full brain and spine MRI basically what we will do is watch for inflammation to see if we need to go up on the IVIG dosage and he said this will be a lifelong thing so they are talking about putting a Port in her chest. Our doctor wants us to go see a specialist in Philly and is personally making calls himself to try to get that scheduled for her.

With all of that being said, we are beside ourselves as we do not know what the future holds for Izzy and I need to give her my 100%. That for me is being available 100 percent of the time. I really love painting and it makes me very sad to say this but I will be selling my trailer and all of the things in it to a local painter.

Please say some prayers for Izzy as she is going to need every single one of them.

Hi everyone!!
Here to announce that we have finally been able to get Izzy stable enough to get a full time Nanny. She will be starting in July!
My schedule will still be limited because I am going to have to be at doctors appointments with Izzy a couple of times a week still but I am going to be taking on smaller jobs and furniture starting in July! If there’s something you’re wanting or needing to have done, text me! 386-314-1667 and I can get you scheduled. I know I have had several people reach out to me in the last 6 months but unfortunately it took a while to get Izzy to where she is right now.

Update on our daughter!
We are still in in-patient therapy in the hospital, she still is unable to voluntarily move her legs. We are still working on getting her trunk strong and her stronger in general. We have a long road ahead and as it sits I will be out of work for a couple of months possibly longer. To those who have reached out for work, i apologize if I have been unable to get back to you as my daughter needs my full attention at this time. I am currently residing in Orlando while she is going through physical therapy treatments.
I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause for anyone!

Hello everyone!

My daughter has had an unexpected medical emergency and we have been in the hospital since last Wednesday. We will probably be here for weeks to come. With that being said I am going to be unable to take on any painting at this time. I will try to update as she shows improvement as to what kind of time line we are looking at for me to resume taking on painting jobs!
