How a professional organizer organizes her own coat closet 👀

Having everything you need to grab in a pinch will make your coat closet a space in your house to help you get from point A to point B without any stress.

Here is how I set mine up:
• Unified hangers are visual pleasing and instantly elevate your closet
• Bins on the shelf with labels so you don't need to guess and check items
• Larger bins on the bottom to store bulkier stuff
• Added bonus a place to hange and charge the vacuum
• Keep all items contained and off the floor

The goal is simple: take time and invest to make your space more functional and you will shave of minutes off your day!

Spice, spice baby! If your spice drawer or cabinet is looking a little chaotic, here are 5 easy ways to get organized:

1. Decant for consistency (if you can)

Different bottle sizes = wasted space + visual chaos. Matching jars = easier to see + easier to store.

2. Store by frequency, not alphabet

Alphabet looks nice… but it’s not practical. Keep your most-used spices front and center.

3. Use tiered risers or drawer inserts

If spices are stacked, you won’t use what you can’t see. Everything should be visible at a glance.

4. Label the tops (especially for drawers)

If you’re using a drawer, this is a game changer. No more picking up 5 jars to find paprika.

5. Edit your spices

We all have:

- expired spices
- duplicates
- things we swear we’ll use

Less clutter = easier system

Then we sort, purge, and take inventory.
From there, it is about creating a layout that makes sense for how the space is actually being used.
