Hi Friends -
I have been a board member of The Dance Institute of Washington (D.C.) for approx. 15 years, and it has been my distinct honor to serve such an amazing group of young people. DIW serves as one of the only black-led, pre-professional dance equity organizations in the country, working to eliminate barriers that have historically limited access to world-class dance training.

This , I’m supporting DIW’s “Pointe Shoe Fund” to help young ballerinas get the proper shoes and supplies they need.

Pointe shoes cost about $200 a pair, and many students go through multiple pairs each season. Families often can’t afford them, especially Black and Brown dancers who struggle to find shoes in their skin tone.

If you are able, please consider joining me in making a gift to this extremely worthy cause.
