THIS IS WHAT GOES INTO EVERY WeLit PORTAL LIGHT. 🇺🇸🔥
Our Portal Lights don’t just come off a production line and get tossed in a box. We build the experience from the ground up.
They start out non-waterproof, and that’s where our process begins.
🔧 We solder the ends by hand and route them into a custom silicone sleeve. Applying one end cap.
💧 Once that process is complete, we send them to a USA-based factory where they’re gel-injected to take our waterproofing from IP65 to IP69K.
🧪 When they return, we apply a specialized adhesion promoter we developed specifically to overcome the negative adhesion properties of silicone tubing.
📦 Finally, we apply our specially designed 3M adhesive tape, engineered specifically for our Portal Lights. Then apply our final end cap.
That’s a lot more than simply putting lights in a box.
