This Canadian made hardwood flooring is a great deal. Most Canadian wood flooring manufacturers don't make any 5" wide plank flooring, due to solid floor stability concerns. This is a good example for people looking for wide plank, but not too wide, like 5" or wider. This product is 4-3/4"x 3/4" solid, which is very pretty for this new construction house in north Edison, NJ.

For house with concrete slab, glue down engineered hardwood flooring is one of the options. The other one is floating. Sika Bond T21 is the newest adhesive product with the latest technology, which doesn’t require device testing concrete moisture. As long as the slab is visually dry, it’s good to go. The flooring the customer using is Bruce Turlington oak engineered. Honestly there were many defective pieces in boxes delaminated.

We have a oak flooring refinishing job done recently in the middle of October. It’s October. Temperature and relative humidity drop quickly causing the flooring boards shrink. For dark stain flooring, multiple separations are showing natural oak color lines, which bothers the home owner. The pictures here show the steps to touch up the line with the same stain. Using clean rag to apply stain to the light color line, rubbing it into the gap. Since the surface is protected by finish, only the light color gap takes the stain. Using a clean rag to wipe clean the extra stain on the surface, the light color line is dispersed.
