We recently completed a full home window and door replacement for our customer in Edmonds, and the transformation is night and day!
Their home already had incredible, sweeping views—but dated grids and bulky frames were getting in the way. Their goal was: open everything up and let those views take center stage.
One of the biggest upgrades was in the breakfast nook. We replaced 18 small, gridded windows with just three large Milgard Tuscany Series windows, completely changing the feel of the space. What was once busy and obstructed is now clean, bright, and expansive.
The finished result is exactly what the homeowner envisioned—more natural light, clearer sightlines, and a much stronger connection to the outdoors.
Now they can sit down with their morning coffee and fully enjoy the views their home was always meant to showcase.

This project included a full window and door upgrade with Milgard Trinsic windows and Codel doors throughout, enhancing the home’s comfort, efficiency, and overall character. The new windows allow for more natural light while maintaining the home’s original style. To finish the project, our customer chose a beautiful front door with a pop of color, adding personality and welcoming curb appeal!

After we completed a full home window replacement with Andersen® windows, our client asked us to continue the transformation by replacing all of their exterior doors.

We worked closely with them to select doors that honored the character of the home while offering a beautiful, low-maintenance solution built to last. The result? A stunning oak-grain fiberglass door with a rich walnut stain, perfectly complementing the home’s exterior color and architectural style.

Project Spotlight of the Week:

Our returning customer reached out to replace additional windows in their home, and we were thrilled to partner with them again to bring their vision to life! We worked together to select the perfect windows and door — stunning Andersen E-Series products that highlight the character and charm of their Queen Anne home.

Following installation, our team crafted custom paneling and trim to enhance the beautiful oak interior of the door, tying the entire unit together seamlessly.

🌟 Project Spotlight: Transforming a Community Space 🌟

This week, our Green Built Northwest crews had the privilege of completing a meaningful window replacement project for a local church that provides housing and vital resources for the community.

When we first arrived, all of the windows were single-pane, drafty, and in several cases broken—covered with wood or fabric just to keep the elements out. As you can imagine, this made it difficult to maintain a warm and comfortable environment, especially with colder months approaching.

✨ The Transformation:
We replaced the old windows with beautiful, energy-efficient Milgard windows selected by our customer. These upgrades provide significantly improved weatherization, heat retention and safety, while also adding much-needed functionality.

In addition, we were able to qualify their project for Puget Sound Energy window rebates—creating valuable savings that can now be directed toward other essential improvements within their facility.
Seeing the difference these upgrades make for a space that serves our community is incredibly rewarding.
