Congratulations to Mr. Barnhart on taking advantage of a great deal on this rental return!

He originally was to have one from another company delivered next Wednesday, but was really hoping to have one before then.

Not all portable building dealers are willing to help you understand and navigate the permitting process for your new building.

Some simply point you toward the building and zoning department and wish you luck. But that's not how I do business.

From the very beginning, I work alongside my customers to help determine what permits, setbacks, HOA requirements, or local regulations may apply to their project. In fact, most of the time, I won't sell you a building until we're confident you can obtain any required approvals.

My job doesn't end when the paperwork is signed. I'm here before, during, and long after the sale to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Like today when my client from Alton called to tell me she wasn't quite sure what the City was asking for. I simply replied, let me take care of that! In a matter of a 2 minute call and email, the City has what they need to make a determination.

Lead times depend on a few factors. If you have your foundation or site prep ready and have acquired any necessary permits from your city and county, the lead time is approximately four weeks.

Lead time waiting period starts the moment you approve and sign the quote.

As your local Authorized Dealer for Cardinal Portable Buildings, I'm here to guide you through the process from start to finish—including site preparation, zoning questions, and delivery requirements.

📍 Site Preparation Requirements:

✔ Ground must be within 24" of level.

✔ The purchaser is responsible for site preparation. If you need site work completed, I can connect you with trusted local contractors.

✔ Additional charges may apply if more than 24" of blocking is required at the highest corner.

✔ Buildings can be installed on blocks, gravel, or concrete. I can help determine what is best for your location.

✔ Any building 40' or longer must be placed on a concrete or gravel pad that is within 1"–3" of level.

📍 Keep Your Site Accessible:

✔ Site must be clean, dry, firm, and easily accessible.

✔ Remove obstacles such as fences, low-hanging limbs, vehicles, debris, and other obstructions.

✔ Ensure there are no safety hazards such as overhead power lines in the delivery path.

📍 Permits & Regulations:

✔ Purchasers are responsible for permits, property line verification, HOA approvals, and local code compliance.

✔ Contact your local City Hall or Codes Office for regulations regarding outdoor storage buildings.
