We are a full-service residential garage door service, repair, and installation company serving all of San Diego County. Since 1993, we have been dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience for all our clients by providing quick service, knowledge to make informed decisions, and quality products that we stand behind.
We provide all the tools for you to be successful including, truck, phone, iPad, gas, materials, uniforms, jobs, and additional training as needed.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our small dedicated team and grow with us. Our ideal team member is reliable, hardworking, honest, and looking for a long-term position with the ability to move up as the company continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Minimum one-year garage door installation and/or service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn about our products, procedures, and processes
- Ability to speak clearly and confidently with customers about products and services
- Ability to learn and use new software
- Ability to read and understand documents including procedure manuals, contracts, instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to read a tape measure and convert nominal measurements
- Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record
- Pass background and drug test
- High School Diploma or GED required
Primary responsibilities
- Represent Dlouhy Doors with honesty and professionalism at all times
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Follow all policies and procedures
- Inspect garage doors, openers, and related components; diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments, document all recommended and completed repairs per company policy
- Complete service repairs and installations in a safe, organized, and professional manner
- Educate customers on recommended repairs/service and on new products purchased.
- Explain warranty information to customers, including opener manufacturer warranties
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Maintain a well-stocked, maintained, and clean company vehicle. Report any mechanical issues to office immediately
- Being available/on call for emergency repairs (rotating schedule)
Physical demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
