“Soup or Salad Sunday” for our weekly theme tonight! Decided to make a pasta salad since I had a package of frozen tortellinis in the freezer and some small packages of salami and cheese that I needed to use up. And for all of you tomato lovers, adding a tomato would be a great addition as well. Since I knew the kiddos were not going to love this as much as I would… I made a second batch of tortellinis so they could have it with a red marinara sauce. And my littlest made a fruit salad with all of the berries we picked in the garden this morning. It was an easy and delicious dinner this evening! ❤️

A little peek at our morning… feeling “lucky” to be their mama and see how excited they get about a visit from some sneaky leprechauns! Our St. Patrick’s Day traditions… Lucky Charms cereal, a scavenger hunt, baskets of green “treasure”, and of course green toilet water! 🤣🍀

With four kiddos… our weekends have become filled with sleepover fun! Kind of reminds me of my childhood. There’s always at least one extra kiddo (usually 2 or 3 🤣) here on the weekends and I love it! ❤️ Movie time, popcorn, games, and giggles. Makes my heart happy! ❤️ I always want our friends to feel like they are part of our family with fun activities and family meals! 🥰

Wearing this cozy gray sweatshirt makes me smile and feel like I’m wrapped in one big hug from my dad. It’s the one clothing item I chose to keep… to remember his warmth, his love for me, and his sweet hugs. When I put it on, I think of him and all of his goodness! ❤️

February is done… so it’s time to take the “heart attacks” off each kiddos door! It was fun adding a new heart each day leading up to Valentine’s Day…sharing with them something I love about each of them! 💕 Especially for my kiddos whose love language is best shown with words… this is a sweet tradition they look forward to each year. 💕

Always love creating a playdough station at class holiday parties for the little ones! And I love to make homemade playdough in different colors and sometimes scents. (Koolaid packets seem to be a thing of the past… so I just add food coloring now.) ❤️ All ready for our Valentine’s Day party on Friday with the playdough and lots of fun goodies to get creative with. ❤️ I’ll try to take a photo of the playdough station. Thankful that I am able to do all of the “room parent fun” with my littlest. Makes it even more fun when you get to be the room parent with a sweet friend!

A much needed “slower” morning. Trying to be more consistent with things that fill me up, give me energy & patience, help me see joy all around, encourage thankfulness & love, and are just good for me! Setting aside some quiet time each day to read, journal, and pray is something I need more of! 💕

Love is in the air! 💕 Just a few touches here and there to get us ready for the month of February! 💕 One of the kids favorite family traditions this month is our “Secret Valentine!” And I’ll share more details on that soon. I love to look for ways to encourage my kiddos to have fun loving up on one another! 💕

A Christmas Eve tradition… Swedish pancakes for breakfast! So much fun to pass this tradition on to my own kiddos as I have such sweet memories of eating Swedish pancakes as a child too! 💕
