CHARITY FUNDRAISER!!

Once again this year I’m help raise money for a few very important charitable causes. Ive been apart of this event and raising money for the On My Own in Nevada Missouri for the last three years.

The live auction is held every year during Buckles, Barrels & BBQ and the turnout for the LIVE AUCTION has been tremendous. It feels so right to give back to those who need so much from those of us who can afford to provide. If you would like to help and be a sponser with anything farm,home or beauty related items that can be in the auction please contact Jennifer Gundy and to make your donation of items or funds.

I’ll be posting pictures of what I’ll be donating to the auction in case you would like to come bid. Please remember this is a charity so go to bid with good intent. Here’s a little about what they do for our local community!

Their primary mission is to empower individuals with disabilities of all ages to live independently and productively in their own homes rather than in institutional facilities.

Core ServicesAdvocacy: Helps individuals advocate for their own rights regarding housing, employment, healthcare, and legal benefits.

Independent Living Skills: Provides free classes on budgeting, cooking, and daily household maintenance.Information & Referral: Connects community members with vital disability and social services.

Peer Support: Connects disabled individuals with mentors who provide guidance and encouragement.Transitions: Assists individuals in moving from rehabilitation centers or nursing homes back into independent living.

Welp that’s a wrap for The Reserve at The Goat Ranch - Baker Spain Stampede 🎬🔨

Now that was a project!! I’m thankful for the opportunity on that scale and the learning experience of the project. It also gave me the chance to step away from so much social media presence because let’s be honest, you can only post so much of the same project and then your followers just aren’t engaged 😩.

So I’m on to some new and exciting projects for some wonderful clients creating a executive office in South Dakota, bedroom and kitchen setting for a new home build in New Mexico and adding a beautiful custom dining room set for my Las Vegas client that bought a stunning one of a kind bed last Fall and that crazy bookie doggie day bed I shared last week.

I’m back and can’t wait to share some inspiration with you but till then here’s a recap and if you get the chance be sure to catch “ Building Spain” on the Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel Plus yours truly be on there somewhere in the build… maybe season II 🧐😅🤠🙌🤔. So I had someone inquire about these stools this morning, they have been very popular because of the neutral colors but the fabric is a retired pattern.

Well I went searching in my stash and came up with a piece that’s enough to do four barstools!

AI ALERT!!!!

From a clients perspective I would like to know how you feel about all this AI generated staging and can you actually tell which furniture is being marketed with AI or not and what do you prefer.

For myself I take it as part of the process to stage and represent it in its true state and rather enjoy the process. BUT, I am so over all this AI generated marketing. So much of it is altering the product that I’m convinced it’s totally unfair to the clients.

I mean some of my best staging has been against a white wall and choosing to be creative with minimal props.

I’m all about an honest representation of what the finished product can look like and trying to create ambiance just don’t distort the product. I suggest adding a stock shop photo to show true colors and character of your piece.

And what’s your theirs on the impact that AI is having on our environment now and to come with the gobbling up of jobs, land and natural resources?
