One of the things we’ve always loved most over the years is creating custom shelves. 🗿 Watching an idea go from a simple sketch to a finished piece hanging in someone’s home has always been Tiki Gonzo’s passion.

Here’s one of the last custom orders he’ll be building for a while—a massive shelf for Jeff Kuster measuring 6 feet wide and 2 feet tall, headed all the way to Washington! Mahalo, Jeff, for trusting us with your vision and for supporting our small family business.

A quick reminder: Orders placed after June 1st are expected to be completed between mid-August and September. If your order requires a fabric selection and you haven’t sent it yet, please message us with your order number and fabric choice so we can keep things moving.

Although Tiki Gonzo is officially retired from vending, he just couldn’t stay away from one of his favorite events! 😊

This Sunday, June 28, we’ll be stopping by the LA's Oldest Tiki Bar Dog Days of Summer event to say hello, catch up with old friends, and support the amazing vendors who have been part of our journey throughout the years.

We won’t be vending, but if you see Tiki Gonzo walking around, please stop and say hello! He would love to see you, take a photo, share a hug, and thank you personally for all the love and support you’ve shown him over the years.

Come out, support small businesses, enjoy a great day with the tiki community, and help us celebrate the incredible Ohana that makes these events so special.

Tiki Gonzo is hard at work completing orders and putting the finishing touches on a huge custom shelf that was ordered some time ago. We are so grateful for your patience and support as we work through the final wave of orders.

If you placed an order after June 1st, please remember that your shelf is expected to ship between August and September. We are moving as quickly as possible while making sure every shelf receives the care and craftsmanship it deserves.

A friendly reminder: If your shelf requires a fabric selection and you have not yet contacted us with your choice, please do so as soon as possible. This will help keep your order moving smoothly through production.

More shelves are heading off to their new homes! 🌴❤️

Every shelf that leaves the workshop carries a little piece of Tiki Gonzo with it, and it brings us so much joy knowing they will become part of your homes, collections, and tiki spaces.

Tiki Gonzo is steadily chipping away at orders, one shelf at a time. We know many of you are eagerly waiting, and we cannot thank you enough for your patience, understanding, and support as he works through the order list. After everything that has happened this year, the love you’ve shown our family has been nothing short of incredible.

We are truly grateful for every order, every message, every memory shared, and every kind word. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your tiki journey.

We had a wonderful time this afternoon visiting the Tikiland Trading Co. Marketplace! ❤️🌴

It was so special to see so many familiar faces, share hugs, catch up, and personally thank so many of you for the incredible love and support you’ve shown our family over the past few weeks. Every kind word, story, and memory shared with Tiki Gonzo means more than you know.

Thank you for making today so memorable. Seeing this amazing Ohana reminded us once again why this community is so special.

WOW… we are officially SOLD OUT! ❤️🌴

We are beyond humbled and grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, support, kind messages, and orders over the past week. When we announced Tiki Gonzo’s retirement, we never imagined the response would be so overwhelming. You have truly touched our hearts.

While the website is now closed and all inventory has sold out, please remember that all existing orders will be completed as promised. We are currently working through a large number of orders, and completion is expected by mid-September. We kindly ask for your continued patience as Tiki Gonzo takes his time and works at a pace that allows him to focus on his health and recovery.

If you have any questions about your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out by message or email. We are always happy to help.

And don’t forget—we hope to see many of you this Sunday at the Marketplace! We won’t be vending, but we’ll be stopping by to visit our amazing vendor friends, enjoy the event, and say hello. While Tiki Gonzo is no longer vending at events, we still believe in supporting and sharing events within our wonderful tiki community.

This Sunday, June 14th, we’ll be attending the Laguna Social—not as vendors, but simply to enjoy the event, visit with friends, and support the amazing small businesses and vendors we’ve had the privilege of working alongside over the years.

Tiki Gonzo will be there walking around and saying hello. If you see him, please stop by, say hi, grab a photo, and help lift his spirits a bit. ❤️ This retirement decision has been a difficult one for him, even though we know it’s the right choice for his health and recovery.

I’ll be there with him as well, and we’re looking forward to spending the day with this incredible community that has meant so much to our family.

Come out, support some fantastic vendors, spend time with amazing Ohana, and enjoy a great day together.

🌺 Wow… what a week it has been. 🌺

Tiki Gonzo is completely overwhelmed by the incredible love, support, kind words, and orders that have poured in from this amazing community. We honestly never expected this response, and it has touched our hearts more than you will ever know.

As of today, only THREE items remain available on the website. Everything else has officially sold out!

Once these final shelves find their homes, the website will close and this chapter of the Tiki Gonzo journey will come to an end.

While this is bittersweet, we are so grateful. Grateful for the friendships, the memories, the laughter, and for every person who welcomed a Tiki Gonzo shelf into their home. What started as a passion project became something so much bigger because of all of you.

From our family to yours, thank you for supporting Tiki Gonzo and for making this final chapter so special. ❤️🌴

To everyone who has placed an order, sent a message, shared a post, or offered words of encouragement—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The love and support this community has shown our family has been nothing short of amazing.

As Tiki Gonzo and I work through this incredible number of orders, we kindly ask for your patience. Every shelf is still being made with the same care, craftsmanship, and aloha that has always gone into a Tiki Gonzo creation.

This season has been incredibly bittersweet for our family. There are so many emotions right now—gratitude, pride, sadness, excitement, and reflection. We never imagined this little shelf business would touch so many lives and create so many friendships. We are truly grateful for the wonderful run we’ve had and for every home that welcomed a Tiki Gonzo shelf.
