MPA is looking for a person willing to learn and develop a successful career in the Painting industry. No previous experience required. MPA will provide all the training in our processes step by step. The ideal candidate is a team player eager to learn, reliable, knows how to follow directions, and accommodates to changing circumstances.
Responsibilities:
· Planning and prep work in an efficient manner
· Preparing painting surfaces by cleaning walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
· Preparing the surrounding area by covering with drop cloth and plastic to prevent paint on finished surfaces
· Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
· Maintain clean, organized work areas and securely store equipment and supplies
· Be an exemplary employee

· Be able to drive a company vehicle as requested
· Be able to work overtime and outside New Jersey as needed
· Participate in all MPA meetings as requested.
· Participate in all training programs as requested.
Qualifications:
· No experience in painting required
· Employment authorization documentation
· Driver’s license and clean record
· Bilingual Spanish and English (writing)
· Basic computer knowledge
· Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
· Student mentality
Will provide training for the followings:
· History of MPA, mission, vision, and goals
· Protocols of the company
· MPA processes
· Shop processes
· Responsibilities of a helper
· MPA painting techniques
· Products and tools
· Construction processes
· How to solve problems with a positive attitude
· How to represent the company
· Repair spray machines for immediate operation
· OSHA 30
