Monarch Caterpillars are here!
Each week there will be a few full size potted plants and caterpillar combos for $5 to raise in your enclosure.
This year there are way more caterpillars than available potted feeder plants. So many more that just the caterpillar ($4) is now also sold separately if you have your own milkweed source.
Enclosures can be purchased here for $20 or from Amazon.

Located on the outskirts of Elizabethtown, PA near the Wolgemuth Park. The Milkweed Market will be open Thursdays thru Sundays 8AM - 6PM.
Stop on in and see other milkweed from around the country. Caterpillars usually show up mid July. Everyone is welcome.

Free Monarch Caterpillar with $5 potted milkweed plant grown to fit inside the 24" Butterfly enclosures.
Help save the Monarch Butterfly 1 caterpillar at a time!
Watching the Monarch lifecycle is a fun and educational experience for all ages. The $5 potted milkweed plants fit inside the mesh enclosures and will provide all the food needed for 1 caterpillar to reach the pupa stage. In a week to 10 days a Monarch Butterfly will emerge from the chrysalis to be released and start it's journey south to overwinter.

New this year M4M will be closed over the winter months. You can still contact me for seeds or milk jug kits and stop in and pick them up or order online and have them shipped.
The Milkweed Market will open May 2, 2024 for the summer.

May. 2nd Milkweed Market Opens for summer. Milkweed and Nectar Plants for sale. Milkweed will be available all summer, Nectar flowers while supplies last.

June *Approx. June 10 – July 15. Milkweed Garden Tours. Self guided tours of the 7 gardens housing 40+ different species of milkweed.

Narrowleaf Milkweed Seeds, Asclepias fascicularis. Also known as Mexican Whorled and Narrow-leafed Milkweed. Seeds are available now online. 10-25-50 count. $2.29 - $4.75 https://www.milkweed4monarchs.org/product/narrowleaf-milkweed-seeds-asclepias-fascicularis/ Native to the Western most US the plants grow 2.5 - 3' tall on long stems with soft wispy leaves. Delicate light pink blooms adorn the top of each stem. Spreads quickly through shallow rhizomes and will flower the second year.
Native to CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, WA. All seeds hand collected from plants grown free of pesticides and chemicals in my home gardens.
