Today, on the second birthday of the Speckled Sparrow, I have some very important announcements to make:
First, a huge thanks to you, our awesome customers, who have made us successful with your events, kind words, and referrals.
When I opened two years ago, I had no idea how busy we would be or how popular these painting events were. Within six months of opening, I hired another teacher, Michelle Hudson, to keep up with the demand. She has been so dependable and hard-working, and I am glad to call her my friend. Thank you, Michelle, for being by my side like Lucy and Ethel!
Second, with conflicting emotions, I am announcing that I will be closing the studio at the end of May. Unforseen circumstances have caused me to evaluate what I am doing and made me realize that I cannot continue to have the studio and to teach full-time at school as well.
I will still honor all of the events I have on the calendar. Also if you have a gift certificate, please contact me to redeem it or get reimbursement for it through May.
Now the good news.... Michelle plans to continue to do painting events with groups. The only difference is that she will be traveling to your location. There will no longer be a studio option for you. Michelle can be reached with texts or calls to 270-312-4451 or you can contact her through What's App. She doesn't have a page. After May, I will no longer be checking this page for inquiries.
Thanks to all who have helped at various events-- Betty Kim, Betta Kim, (even Brit and B.J.), Cullen Miller, Mike Miller, Mary Jo Haydon, Maggie Haydon, Caroline Haydon, Carol Caldwell, Kristen Willett, Alana Wooldridge, and my husband James.
With heartfelt gratitude, I truly am thankful that I have been able to live out a little dream I had of owning a studio and more importantly to meet so many fun, interesting people, so many of which I'm glad to call a friend. Thanks for the opportunity. Who knows what lies ahead?!
Sincerely,
Jill McIntyre
