Hi everyone.

NewLite's wire connector the Q-Loc is now made in the USA. I brought the molds back from China a little more than a year ago. It has been a journey getting the molds running, and figuring out how to inject the waterproof material. However I'm glad to let you know that we are in full production here in California, and I'm proud to label them Made in USA.

I know they are a little different than what you typically see in the market, but that's by design. We designed the Q-Loc to eliminate call backs by making it so they do not come off the wire once installed. The top locking bolt twist down onto the wire jacket, not the exposed copper wire. Since the jacket is the strongest part of the wire it makes it the best place to grab hold. The exposed copper wire is then protected behind the bolt, and in the waterproof silicone jell.

We also realized that brown tends to blend in a little better than, black or green or yellow or blue. Seems simple, but our competitors want their connectors to stand out. They also "Group" together to make a cleaner install.
