More from the home we shared last week—and more personality around every corner. 🤍

These empty nesters moved into a “new to them” house and wanted it to feel like their own. After sharing their bedroom transformation, we’re taking you into the spaces where they gather, relax, and welcome friends.

Layered neutrals, warm wood, touches of brass, and a mix of patterns bring softness and character throughout the living room, dining area, and entry. The charcoal fireplace adds a little drama, while comfortable seating and thoughtful details keep everything feeling inviting.

A home that feels pulled together, personal, and ready for this next chapter.

Making a “new to you” house feel like home. 🤍

These empty nesters wanted to give their new home personality and character that reflected their own style. For their bedroom, we brought in rich, moody walls, soft upholstery, layered bedding, and touches of brass to create a warm, inviting retreat.

The deeper wall color gives the room a cozy, enveloping feel, while lighter fabrics and warm metallic accents add softness and balance. A little drama, plenty of comfort, and so much more personality!

BEFORE AND AFTER!

A guest room should feel like more than a place to sleep. Soft layers, warm textures and thoughtful details create a space that quietly says, “We’re so glad you’re here.”

What's one thing you always appreciate when you're a guest in someone's home?

One of the most common mistakes we see? Art that’s too small for the wall.

The right piece doesn’t merely fill an empty spot. It establishes scale, supports the room’s color story and gives the eye somewhere to land.

Do you have a wall in your home that you still haven’t figured out?

The answer to “Should we paint the woodwork?” is definitely not always yes. 🤎

In this home, the dark woodwork brings so much warmth, richness and character—we knew it deserved to stay exactly as it was. Instead of fighting it, we designed around it…and the result feels timeless, layered and completely at home.
