We use 3D technology to draft, design + visualize permit-ready construction plans for industry professionals and homeowners. After spending multiple years in the home industry, our founders recognized a significant disconnect between all parties of the home build process. With builders primarily using 2D floor plans to design homes, we’ve found that an unfamiliar homeowner has difficulty visualizi

ng that home coming to life. When the framing stage arrives, homeowners often realize changes they are wanting to make resulting in more money, stress and setbacks. Builders are also delayed and frustrated in having to detour from their streamlined processes. We’re able to simplify the build process by drafting and designing homes not just in 2D, but in utilizing 3D software. Our experienced team is able to assist all parties in the build process. We provide builders the plans they need for bidding, permitting and building and bring confidence to the homeowners by presenting their home, interior and exterior, with 3D visuals and walkthroughs - minimizing future change orders and stresses in the build. With much success in this field, our team found opportunity to branch out our drafting and design services to volume and semi-custom builders as well as the remodel, addition and basement finish fields. We’ve also created more offerings among our 3D department to assist homeowners, architects, interior designers and commercial brokers in the visualization of residential and commercial spaces. At VirtuActive, we believe that any investment into your home or commercial space is an important one. Our goal is to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for all parties involved to help clearly communciate wants and needs. We take pride in knowing we have a large part in helping make your future space a space to create endless memories with friends and family and we look forward to doing so everyday.

At VirtuActive, our primary focus is creating construction ready home plans that bring our clients’ visions life — But when you see examples like this, it’s hard not to appreciate the power of 3D.

This 3D rendering was created long before construction began. The final photo is the completed home. Nearly identical.

3D is a large part of our projects — from the 3D walkthrough with our clients before plans are finalized to the 3D Visual Package our clients receive at the end of their project. 3D is an extension of the design process, helping builders & homeowners confidently move forward knowing exactly what the finished product will look like.

Use 3D for:

> confidence in window size, hallway width, space for furniture, etc.
> listing a spec on the MLS during construction
> marketing content for social media and print advertising

One of our favorite parts of the design process is our Design Review Meeting, where clients step inside their home in 3D and experience every space before plans are finalized.

During this review, we can make live adjustments based on feedback, helping clients feel confident in every decision. In these examples, we transformed the front entry from a single door to a grand double-door entrance and refined several kitchen details to better fit the vision.
