Sometimes bread boards get old and roughed up with knife cuts or crack and warp. It was time for new ones for this customer so I built them ones that should last a long time. Hard maple tenoned into red oak ends to stay flat and coated with a mineral oil/beeswax butcher block conditioner.

I made a couple of display pedestals for the Northfield historical society today. They will have display cases with a gun dropped by the Jesse James Gang during their foiled robbery of the bank and ornate boxes made by the younger brothers during their stay in Stillwater prison.
