Rescue shelters are full of heroes, but we're looking for your help to recognize one of our heroes who rises above the rest.

Jill Elston has been licensed vet tech at ACS for a decade. To say she is dedicated to the health, happiness and well-being of animals is an understatement. She goes above and beyond every day for animals, and anyone who knows or has even only met Jill knows this to be true.

As it were, Jill has been selected to be a top 5 finalist out of an elite pool of over 300 veterinary nurses across the country. With your help, she can selected as an American Hero Veterinary Nurse, with which comes national recognition that Jill would never ask for, but so deserves. You can vote for her (along with an American Hero Veterinarian candidate) once a day until July 29.
