Big day here at Copper Top Nursery! I started the long process of transplanting annuals in the greenhouse!

The last year has been one of trial and error. Last Fall I completed my internship at the U of M Research and Outreach Center in Waseca, MN as part of my Associates degree. I then began getting the greenhouse set up for all season use, this entailed installing a heater and wrapping up winterization. In addition, I began planning for my future education at South Dakota State University after my high school and community college graduations this May. I am planning to do an accelerated masters program to earn my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Horticulture Genetics Research. It's been a long but fruitful year. I'm excited to use the abundance of knowledge I have obtained over the last year to offer higher quality flowers and vegetables this year!

I want to thank everyone who has been a mentor, customer or supported me in this long process. I couldn't do it without you!

Planting has officially started! Brassicas, leafy greens, and a few cold hardy varieties of tomatos.
