Opening Story: Without Planning For The Future
When we first moved to our small piece of land, I was ready to dive headfirst into my homesteading dream. I built garden beds, planted rows of vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants, and started raising chickens. https://mailchi.mp/aad0b77b0c4a/the-mistake-that-nearly-derailed-my-dreams-12720223

Hey Beekeepers!

Ready for a buzzworthy evening? You should totally clear your schedule and head over to the Fayette County Beekeepers meeting tonight. It’s all going down at the AgriLife building, 255 Svoboda Ln #134, La Grange, TX 78945.

Here’s the scoop—this isn’t just your run-of-the-mill meeting. Nope. It’s a full-on family affair! Young beekeepers, seasoned pros, curious beginners—bring the whole hive (yes, that means you and your kiddos too). Let’s make it a night to remember.

Agenda? Oh, you’ll love this:

We kick off with an awesome Beekeeping 101 presentation. Perfect for newbies, or anyone wanting a refresher.

Then… it’s potluck time! Everyone’s bringing a covered dish, so come hungry—and yes, you’re bringing one too. Don’t hold out on us.

I’ll have my trusty ice chest, stocked with cold water and cans of Brisk iced tea (because staying hydrated while talking bees is serious business).

After a short business meeting, the real highlight—our guest speaker!
Tonight, from 6:00-8:00 pm, we’re thrilled to welcome Tara Dawn Chapman from Two Hives Honey. She’ll be dropping serious knowledge about all things bees and signing copies of her book. Tara runs a fantastic beekeeping biz, and trust me—you don’t want to miss her insights.

So what do you need to do?

1. Show up. Be there. No excuses. Seriously.
2. Bring a dish. Potluck isn’t potluck if you don’t participate.
3. Bring your questions. Got a beekeeping conundrum? This is your chance to get answers.

Let’s make tonight a hive of activity, a place to learn, connect, and grow. Whether you’re a newbie beekeeper or a seasoned pro, this is where you belong.

See y’all there!

Later, Bruce Ford (713)-818-7348
